To be eligible for our Split installment plan, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Have a valid Credit Card and Debit Credit Card (AMEX is excluded from our installment plan payment)
2. Be at least 18 years old at the time you use Split;
3. Be a natural person and not a company, partnership or commercial entity;
4. Be a resident of Malaysia or Singapore;
5. Have a valid email address belonging to you and of which you are the registered user;
6. Have a valid mobile phone number issued by a Malaysian or Singaporean telecommunications provider or carrier and registered in your name;
7. Have a valid credit card or debit card or a valid bank account (in Malaysia);
8. Be capable of entering into a legal binding contract.
Notwithstanding above, the Company reserves the right to reject any request to use Split without assigning any reason.
How it Works
At online checkout or when placing an order over the phone:
1) Choose the Split at the checkout page.
2) Your credit card will be authorized for the entire amount of your order, but you are only charged for the monthly installment. For example, a RM3,000 order using a 3 month installment plan would be charged RM1000 on the day of the order, and RM1000 each following month for the remaining 2 months.
Please note that the total cost of the product(s) will be charged to your card. You only need to pay the monthly instalment to your card, but the entire amount is held in reserve on your card to ensure payment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will I be charged any interests or hidden fees?
A: Absolutely not, we do not add any processing or hidden fees on top of the cost. You will be paying the same amount as if you had not selected the instalment plan.
Q: Do you need to do a credit check?
A: No, we simply reserve the amount on your card as collateral (as described above - reserve hold). You will never see it on your bill.
